Build the flyer before the difficulty builds.
TFI offers hands-on development for beginning flyers, developing flyers, and experienced athletes in a dedicated 3,500 sq. ft. California flyer training facility.
A foundation before specialization.
Beginning-flyer training is designed to create a technical foundation that can grow with the athlete. The emphasis is on learning how to organize the body, understand the airborne phase, respond to coaching cues, and build confidence through appropriate progressions.
- Body line, shape and position fundamentals
- Core control and body organization
- Spatial awareness and orientation
- Launch and takeoff fundamentals
- Safe, progressive introduction to rotation and aerial skills
- Consistency, confidence and coachability
From first flights to higher-performance technical work.
1 · Foundations
For athletes new to flying or new to structured airborne training. Establish positions, awareness, timing and repeatable basics.
2 · Development
Progress body control, rotation, twist, launch mechanics, height, trajectory and increasingly sport-specific skill demands.
3 · Performance
Refine difficult skills, competition consistency, technical efficiency and the individual details that separate a successful attempt from a reliable performance.
Private & semi-private training
In-person training can be organized privately or in small compatible groups based on athlete level, objectives and the technical work being addressed.
Dedicated training environment
TFI's 3,500 sq. ft. flyer facility provides a controlled dryland environment for technical repetition, progression work, video feedback and individualized coaching.
Bring your flyers to California.
Teams and programs can send their flyers to TFI for a concentrated private or semi-private in-person camp focused specifically on flyer development. These camps complement the team's existing coaching program by giving its flyers dedicated technical time that is difficult to create inside normal team practice.
- Private camp for one team or program
- Semi-private camp for a small compatible group of flyers
- Beginning through advanced athletes
- Individual technical assessment within the camp
- Dryland progression and repeated technical work
- Video-supported feedback where useful
- Coach collaboration before and after training
